Whaddup y'all! Just had my draft last night and I have to say that I'm pretty pleased with my squad.
Starters: Matthew Stafford QB, Matt Forte RB, Carlos Hyde RB, Calvin Johnson WR, Keenan Allen WR, Michael Floyd WR, Zach Ertz TE, Andre Ellington FLEX, Vikings D/ST, Stephen Gostkowski K
Bench: Tevin Coleman RB, Eric Ebron TE, Dorial Green-Beckham WR, Phillip Dorsett WR, Teddy Bridgewater QB, Darren Sproles RB, Stevan Ridley RB
It's obviously not the best draft ever but I'll definitely take it over what I started with after last year's draft. I had the 9th pick in the first round and Matt Forte was this best available out of the RB's and WR's. Then I took Calvin. Everyone's saying how his best years are behind him but I personally think he's going to have monster year. He missed five games last year and still had 1,000-something yards. He's Calvin Johnson, not Chad Ochocinco, he's not just going to fade in the wind. Combine that with Matty at QB who I think is poised for his best year ever in year 2 of Joe Lombardi's offense. I also love my Carlos Hyde pick as well as my Vikings D pick. I firmly believe that both will be near the top of their respected categories. I also have a lot of options at the FLEX. Eric Ebron should be much better after a disappointing rookie year and one of either Dorsett, DGB, and Coleman should blossom nicely.
I'm not really big on preparing for fantasy drafts besides your 1st two picks, especially if they're almost back to back like in my case. My only tip would be to get your top two RB's and WR's before the 5th round. Also, don't be that chatch who tries to look smart and drafts his or her defense and kicker before the 12th round. Lastly, try to get your hands on DeVante Adams. He's the new Packers #1 WR with Jordy going down and he has skillllllllls. Good Luck!
