If your like me, there's always that time of the week where only a fine burger will fill me up. Don't even talk to me about that weak Shake Shack garbage. Here are my favorite spots in NYC to enjoy this American delicacy:
The Little Beet Table (333 Park Avenue South):
Going here you got to get the burger blend of skirt steak, chuck, and brisket which come together to create juicy awesomeness. Throw some bacon, a little cheddar and some tangy sauce and you're good to go.
The Commodore (366 Metropolitan Avenue, Brooklyn):
Here the go to is the regular burger but served on a Martin's potato roll with ribbon sliced lettuce, pickle chips, mayo and white onion. It's pretty cheap for the quality and the frozen pina coladas are too shabby either.
The Spotted Pig (314 West 11th Street):
A little higher up on the price end, their burger is worth every penny. In between a cross-charred brioche you'll find a sizable combination of chuck, brisket, and short loin covered in Roquefort blue. The fries are the perfect added taste.
Peter Luger Steak House (178 Broadway, Brooklyn)
This burger is perfect and simple at the same time while being easy on your wallet. The pink juicy core is complemented by a charred exterior, a little onion and a fat slab of bacon on the sides. However, this treasure is only open til 3:45 pm so don't stumble in too late!
